Which size should I order?

Use the waist number printed on trousers that fit and run it through the size finder. Between sizes on a ratchet model, size up.

Can I shorten a strap?

The leather ratchet belts are cut-to-fit by design. The nylon families adjust by buckle instead and should not be cut; a hot-cut nylon edge frays without a proper press.

Is there a warranty?

The leather ratchet family carries an 18-month warranty. On other families the retail partner's standard return window applies, and buckle faults inside that window are returns, not repairs.

Will the buckle pass airport security?

Plan to take any of them off at the scanner. The nylon-strap models with small buckles sometimes clear; the ratchet housings and the duty buckle will not.

Do the colours match across families?

Close but not identical. Coyote and army green are dyed to the same targets, but webbing, weave and leather take dye differently. If an exact match matters, stay within one family.
